Don Quixote Spa is one of those My Khe spots I almost kept to myself. The name made me curious, and the first visit sold me — the therapists were thorough, the room was spotless, and it had that unfussy competence I look for. Now it's my pick when a friend visits and I want to show them that a good Da Nang massage doesn't have to mean a fancy hotel price tag.
This isn't AI. I'm based in Vietnam and write these from real visits — I check out each place myself.
What to expect
I usually go for the full-body oil massage here, and the therapists are good at reading what your body needs. They start a little lighter, then dial up the pressure once they find the tight spots. When I ask for deep work on my lower back, they actually deliver it instead of nodding and forgetting.
There's also a foot massage option I like after a long beach day. The whole thing runs at a calm, steady pace, no clock-watching, no shortcuts. You leave loose and a bit sleepy, which is exactly the point.
The space and service
The space is clean and quiet, with private curtained or doored rooms, soft lighting, and gentle music. It's comfortable rather than showy, and I mean that as a compliment — nothing about it feels like a tourist trap.
The staff are easygoing and genuinely friendly. They check in on pressure and temperature early, then let you drift off. Basic English works fine for booking and explaining what you want, and they finish with tea and a moment to come back to earth before you head out.
Location & getting there
Don Quixote is in the My Khe Beach area, so from any of the beachfront hotels it's a short walk or a five-minute Grab. Coming from the city center, count on about ten minutes by car. The location makes it dead simple to slot a massage between beach time and dinner, which is how I usually end up there.
