Apple Spa

I first wandered into Apple Spa on a slow afternoon when my shoulders were wrecked from too many hours hunched over a laptop, and it's been my default neighborhood spot ever since. It sits right in the thick of the Korean town stretch on Pham Van Dong, so it's an easy walk for me, and the front desk is used to foreigners who don't speak much Vietnamese. Nothing flashy about the place, which is exactly why I trust it.

What to expect

When I drop by, I usually go for the standard body massage, and the therapists here lean toward proper pressure rather than the feather-light tourist treatment. If you like it deep, just say so at the start and they'll commit to it. They also do foot reflexology, which I'll book after a long day of walking around the city.

The vibe is calm and practical. You get a clean room, warm towels, and a tea afterward. It's not a luxury palace, but everything works, and I've never had an awkward or rushed session here, which is more than I can say for some of the bigger tourist spots downtown.

The space and service

The rooms are simple and clean, with soft lighting and quiet music, the kind of setup that lets you actually switch off. I appreciate that they keep the linens fresh and the place smells like oil and tea rather than heavy perfume.

Service-wise, the staff are friendly without hovering. They check the pressure early on, then leave you to it. A few of them speak basic English and Korean, so communicating what you want is rarely a problem. I've sent a couple of friends here and they've all come back happy.

Location & getting there

Apple Spa is on Pham Van Dong in the Korean town area, an easy stretch to reach by Grab from anywhere along the My Khe beachfront — usually under ten minutes. If you're staying near the beach hotels, you can honestly just walk it in the evening. The whole street is full of Korean restaurants and cafes, so it's a nice area to grab a bite before or after.
