Woojeong Barbershop sits in the An Phu area of District 2, the leafy expat pocket across the river, and it has the kind of quiet confidence you only get from a barber who genuinely knows the craft. I came in needing to fix a holiday haircut gone wrong, and the barber sorted it without fuss, reshaping everything with slow, careful scissor work. By the time he finished with the hot towel and a quick head massage, I had already decided this would be my regular spot.

What to expect

The experience here is complete rather than quick. You get a consultation, a wash, a precise cut, a clean razor finish around the edges, and a hot-towel shave, plus a short head and shoulder massage that rounds the whole thing off nicely.

What I appreciated most was the patience. The barber kept checking the shape from different angles and asked before making any big decisions, so I never felt like I was getting a generic cut rushed out to clear the chair.

Woojeong Barbershop is in District 2's An Phu neighborhood, a popular base for expat families just across the river from the center. From District 1 it is a short Grab ride over the bridge, usually ten to fifteen minutes outside rush hour, and the area is easy to navigate. If you already live in An Phu or Thao Dien, it is a quick and convenient stop.
